Rawhide Kid, 1973

From "Might Marvel Western," containing Rawhide Kid, Mat Slade and Two-Gun Kid stories; here is the Rawhide Kid in "Trapped by the Bounty Hunter", thanks for that famed collaboration/duo of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It seems that Marvel is willing to reprint anything with Kirby's name on the ticket (such as Rawhide Kid Masterworks reprint) which leaves many great Western comics without reprint glory. A shame for some, since they are also quite good... Yet Kirby's work is still so striking, and stands out amongst others for me naturally, though I'm cannot say why specifically-- maybe the faces just look tougher, though the drawings seem easily, naturally made. Here is a terribly photographed comic of the Rawhide Kid, certainly Marvel's most famous cowboy...
